Better than I have... I have completely read 19, I have read part or most of a few more. And I've seen the movie of a couple! :-)
Is it wrong to look at the banned book list for ideas of what books you want to read?
Where they burn books, they will end in burning human beings! -H. Heine
Ahhh. Nuthin' wrong with using the banned book list as a "to read list."
Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings should be required reading for EVERY 15-year old girl. Nuff said.
I love that woman. I'm waiting for her new book to come in the mail right now.
I still find it funny that Hitler's Mein Kampf isn't on this list.
Wait! Hilter loved to BURN books.
Kele~
LOL! No, we should read all of those books!! Are there any that would be appropriate for our "Well Read Witch" Book Club??
Hmmm.
Maya Angelou...either her or Sean Connery could come and read bedtime stories to me every night...maybe they could take turns?!!!
Well crap! A Girl can dream!!

Where do you find the list? I need to do a little boat rocking. LOL
oh well crap, i followed the link through Felicia's blog...but i'm sure i could have also found it on the Unitarian Universalist Website...www.uua.org. But your best bet might be to google "Banned Books", eh?? ;)
Are you home? Or blogging from the UP with rocks in one hand??
~Suz~
LOL I'm home, with lots of rocks.
They list in on the ALA site.. whose address I have completely forgotten. prolly ala.org or something.
I'm always surprised about some books that I have read that are not on the list... Like some of Madeleine L'Engles books. It's hard to believe that Tom Sawyer would beat those out!
